In 2000, Rila Institute of Health Sciences developed the first University and Royal College of General Practitioners approved Postgraduate Diploma in ENT for General Practitioners.
Since then, in response to the UK government policy of promoting the concept of Practitioners with Special Interests to reduce pressure on hospitals, Rila hasdeveloped a further nine nationally accredited postgraduate diplomas for practicing GPs and Nurses, validated by The Middlesex University, London:

Originally only available in the UK, Rila Institute of Health Sciences now also offers the Cardiology course in India and Cardiology, Dermatology and Family Medicine in Dubai (UAE) with content customised to ensure maximum local relevance.
